Who we are
Tales for Now is a trade name of Bram Schonenberg Consultancy (a Dutch sole proprietorship), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 93124023, btw-nummer NL004442904B53, located at Basalt 12, 5453 LV Langenboom, Nederland. You can reach us at hello@talesfornow.com.
What you buy
You buy a personalized, illustrated hardcover children's book with stories shaped to your child's age. Depending on the age, they are meant to be read aloud, read together or read independently. The book is made from the choices you make in the wizard.
Price and shipping
The price of the book is separate from shipping costs; you see both before you pay. All prices include VAT. Shipping costs and delivery time differ per country — see our FAQ page.
Read before you pay
You read the full story for free before you order. You only pay once you're happy.
Right of withdrawal
Because every book is made uniquely and personally for your child, it is a custom-made product and the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply (article 6:230p sub f of the Dutch Civil Code). We point this out before you order and ask you to confirm it at checkout. That's also why you can always read the full story for free before you pay — so you know exactly what you're buying.
Payment
Payment is handled securely via Mollie. At checkout you'll see which payment methods are available.
Delivery
Every book is printed specially for you and delivered to your home. The expected delivery time is shown with your order and on our FAQ page. We deliver no later than 30 days after your order; if that unexpectedly fails, you may cancel the purchase and get your money back.
Damaged, wrong or not received
You are always entitled to a sound product. If your book arrives damaged, contains a production or printing error, or is lost during shipping, contact us within 14 days of receipt. We'll then remake it free of charge or refund you. The risk of damage or loss during shipping is ours, until the book has been delivered to you. The fact that the book is custom-made does not affect these rights.

Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms and your order. If we can't resolve a dispute together, you can bring it before the competent Dutch court.
