Functional cookies and storage
We use cookies and storage needed to run the site: to remember your session, keep your story and order during checkout, and keep you logged in. For visitors without an account we set an anonymous session cookie (valid for about 90 days) so you can finish your story later on the same device.
How we improve the site
We measure how the site and the wizard are used, for example how many people finish a story, to improve the product. We do this without names, with our own first-party cookies and storage. We count page visits without a cookie: your IP address and browser type become a code that changes every day; we delete its key as soon as the day is over, after which the code can no longer be traced back to you. We don't store your IP address itself. Separately, we remember in your browser for 30 days which campaign link or website brought you to us (for example our Instagram link), only the name of that website and never its full address. If you create a book or an order, we attach that origin to it, so we can see which channels work. We don't use this for advertising and don't share it with external parties.
No third-party tracking
We use no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers, and don't follow you across other websites. Because our cookies are functional and privacy-friendly and we share nothing with advertising networks, you don't have to accept or decline a cookie banner.
